The Florian Workshop is the first production house in Hungary aiming to support independent contemporary performing arts.

Florian Workshop was an idea conceived by the Moving House Foundation who are also responsible for running it under the aegis of the Alternative and Independent Theatre Association.

Main sponsors are The Municipality of Budapest and The Ministry of National Cultural Heritage.
